Okay, so I'm not funny....Ted and I stayed at the Moose a few days, then moved out to the beautiful 'Terribles Lake RV Resort'....where we ran onto 'Jackson'......If you have never been here, its worth a stop.

Beginings
Ted M......and I left Yuma Arizona on the 22ND of April for our 'Summer Sojourn' for 2009....We have plans to go North into Nevada, then swing West to Highway 1/101, then North to Birch Bay Washington. We hope to be joined by several other people on and off during this trip, especially some old and dear friends....(Joy L. and Betty M.).
Our first destination was Pahrump, NV, so I could check out the mail forwarding, license' etc....and of course, we had to go by way of the Joshua Tree Highway.
This spectacular plant has become the symbol of the Mojave Desert. Mormon pioneers named the species for the biblical figure Joshua, because the trees uplifted limbs reminded them of Joshua praying and pointing to the heavens.
